Lottery terms & conditions from "The Smile of the Child"
The Non-Profit Association named "The Smile of the Child", based in Marousi, Attica, at 1 Spyrou Louis Street, is organizing a lottery for the support of his project based on license no. D14/11673/08-08-2025 Joint Ministerial Decree of the Ministries of National Economy and Finance & Social Cohesion and Family (ADA: ΠΝΟ246ΝΛ2Α-ΝΛΣ)
The proceeds raised will support the operation of the Association's Center for Vulnerable Children with Health Problems with the following terms & conditions of participation which will be posted and constantly updated during the Lottery Market, on the page www.giatoxamogelo.gr official website which serves the purposes of the electronic distribution of lottery tickets (hereinafter referred to as the "Website").
The purpose of this is to define the terms of participation in the Lottery Market, as well as the relevant selection of winners in this context.
The duration of the Lottery is set from the 15ththe September at 10:00 until 21/01/2026 at 23:59
It is expressly clarified that, after the end of the Lottery on the 22a January 2026 or the new date set after any postponement or change in the duration of the Lottery, participation is no longer possible.
In the corresponding case, the new date will be announced from the official website of the Association.
C. Right and way to participate in the Lottery Market
Those who have reached the age of 18 have the right to participate in the Lottery Market. Excluded from the lottery are the employees of the "Smile of the Child" Association and the company Darc, which built the website for the lottery. For those who have not reached the age of 18, participation is only possible with the presence of the person exercising parental care to provide consent for participation and to receive the gift in case of winning.
Participating in the Lottery through online bidding requires registration on the website www.giatoxamogelo.gr and at least the payment of an amount of two euros (2€) for the acquisition of the corresponding lottery ticket which will be sent to the electronic address indicated by the donor. The donor is entitled to pay any amount multiple of two euros (2€) for the purpose of acquiring corresponding lottery tickets. At the same time, anyone who wishes can purchase physical lottery tickets from the Association's premises.
D. Raffle Prizes
The raffle prizes amount to 129 and are all offers from companies - sponsors of the Association, they are specific, and they are not exchanged nor can their replacement with another product of the donating company or their redemption for money be requested. The list with the description of the prizes and their value is provided in Annex 1.
"The Smile of the Child" bears no responsibility for anything related to the above gifts, except for the delivery to the person who will present the winning ticket. The gifts that will be delivered under these terms are provided in the condition in which they are and are, excluding the application of the provisions on the seller's liability or other provisions that establish liability regarding actual defects, agreed properties, etc., against the Association. Also, in no case is the Association liable for any direct or indirect damages, costs and expenses that may arise from any interruption, malfunction or delay or any other cause related to the Lottery prize. Furthermore, the Association bears no liability, criminal or civil, to any winner or third party, for any accident that may occur and/or damage and/or physical or material harm that may be caused to them directly or indirectly related to the prize or for any other reason. The Association is exempted from the obligation to deliver a prize in cases where the conditions of participation in the Lottery have not been met in any way or in case the winning ticket has been lost. Furthermore, the prize No. 9 and No. 10 offer of the company ETEKA in heating oil can only be delivered to areas served by the donating company.
E. Sweepstakes Process
The draw will be held electronically at 22/01/2026 and time 18:00 at the Association's offices in Agia Paraskevi (Garyttou 80) in the presence of the authorized notary of Piraeus, Ms. Tsouma Eleni, from which one winner and two runners-up will emerge for each prize.
The process of selecting the winners will be broadcast via livestreaming on the Association's official YouTube page (https://www.youtube.com/user/smileofthechild).
If for any reason it is impossible to hold the draw on the aforementioned day and time, the Association reserves the right to change the day and time with prior notice.
The results of the draw will be posted the same day on the Association's website www.hamogelo.gr and on the platform www.giatoxamogelo.gr
G. Notification of Winners – Receipt of Prizes
Participants are informed about the draw and its results through the platform www.giatoxamogelo.gr and it is their responsibility to refer to this website to find the winning tickets and, in the event that they are winners, to contact "The Smile of the Child", at 11040 or at [email protected] within seven (7) working days from the date of the draw.
At the same time, "The Smile of the Child" will contact the winners within 7 working days of the draw via the e-mail they have stated when making their donation as well as by telephone contact from the Association on the telephone number they also stated when making their donation. In the event that the winner has not stated contact information or the information they stated contains an error, communication from the Association becomes impossible, so it is exempted from any liability.
If the winners do not respond within ten business days of their announcement, the Association will contact the first (1st) runner-up in order of announcement. If the first (1st) runner-up does not respond within ten business days, then the Association will contact the next runner-up. In the event that communication is not possible with any of the runners-up within thirty (30) business days, then the Gift will be considered as not received for the purposes of the Association without any further procedure or condition.
Winners, at any stage, including the delivery and receipt of the prize, may be disqualified for the following reasons: (a) if, for any reason, they do not fully accept these terms and conditions in their entirety, all of which are considered essential, (b) if their participation does not meet any of the terms hereof, (c) if any of the information they have provided is false, (d) if their participation is, in the opinion of Darc and/or the Association itself, the product of illegal technical influence on Darc's systems or in general fraud or unlawful interference by the participant or a third party, (e) if, for any reason, they do not sign the relevant declaration of receipt and acceptance of the prize, (f) if they do not provide the necessary supporting documents for the transfer of ownership of the prize or where a special receipt procedure is required, (g) if they do not pay the corresponding taxes & fees.
For receiving a gift from the Association: The Winners must present the lucky ticket slip, or the written confirmation they have received in the case of the electronic purchase of the tickets, together with their police ID and sign in front of an employee of the Association a Receipt of Receipt of Prized Items. For gifts whose value exceeds €1,000, they are required to disclose their additional information, such as the A.F.M and the DOU to which they belong, as well as to pay the corresponding tax in advance.
Upon receipt of the prize, each winner will be required to present a photo ID in order to verify their identity and age. In the event that the winner has not reached the age of 18, the receipt of the gift is possible only after the presence of the person exercising parental care to provide consent. Alternatively, it is possible to receive the gift by showing authorization. The winner assumes sole responsibility and timely planning for arranging the above details of claiming their prize.
In the event that the winner is unable to receive the gift himself, it is possible to send a representative with an authorization that will bear the original of his signature and copies of the above documents, after he has previously taken care to inform by phone at 11040 or electronically at [email protected]
The prizes will be collected by the winners from a point indicated by the Association when contacting the lucky winners.
For remote gift pickup: Winners will need to complete a Receipt of Raffle Items which will bear their original signature and describe the gift they won. The text will be sent to the winners by the Association by email to the email address they will declare. Along with the Receipt, winners must provide the winning ticket or the email stating the tickets won electronically. In the event that based on the value of the raffled gift, tax payment is required, the winners must deposit it into an account that will be indicated to them (for centralized payment of the tax) as well as send an informative email for the completion of the deposit.
Direct delivery of gifts from the sponsoring company to the lucky winners: The Winners will need to complete a Receipt of Prizes, which will bear their original signature and describe the prize they won. The text will be sent to the winners by the Association via email to the email address they will provide. Along with the Receipt of Receipt, the winners must also present the lucky ticket or the email stating the tickets they obtained electronically. In the event that tax is required based on the value of the prize, the winners must pay it and present the receipt for this. The sponsoring company will ensure the delivery of the prize to the winners, provided that its network can serve the delivery point.
In any case, the winners have the possibility to request the sending of their gifts to a point of their choice - provided they have sent the above-mentioned documents - and on the condition that they will bear the costs of sending / transporting them.
If any of the winners does not wish to receive their prize, they should send their waiver of this right in writing, to the email: [email protected] , within seven (7) days of his written complaint by the Association.
F. Modification of Terms - Gifts
The Association reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time, to postpone or cancel the lottery and the drawing for reasonable cause, without any prior warning. However, in the event of cancellation, it is obliged to contact the participants using the details they have provided during their donation (phone & e-mail) and to refund the amount they donated to the Association.
The Association is exempt from the obligation to deliver a gift in cases where the terms of participation in the Lottery Market have not been met in any way.
The Association, in the context of this Lottery, reserves the right, for reasons of transparency and compliance with the terms of the issued license, to announce the names and publish photos, audio performances and video recordings of the winners on the Websites, in any of its forms, sites, etc. , as well as to promote any relevant event, such as the use of the gift, etc., without the right to remuneration and/or compensation of the winner.
Each participant in the Lottery unconditionally consents to the above, without payment of any fee or compensation. Without prejudice to the above, refusal of the winner to participate in a relevant promotion, or other announcement or refusal to include his name in entries, if called for this, entitles the Association to refuse the granting of the relevant gift or to revoke it.
Privacy
By registering on the platform for the electronic distribution of tickets for the Lottery Market, the participant gives the Association his unconditional and express permission and consent to the use and processing of personal data concerning him to serve the purposes of the lottery and the Association .
With regard to the winners of the lottery and their possible runners-up, the Association informs that it will process their personal data, which it will collect from them, for the purpose of informing them and publishing the results of the lottery, in accordance with the specific defined in these Terms, as well as the realization of all necessary actions for the delivery of the gifts.
